Immersion trips

An immersion trip is more than just a trip. In just a few weeks, you will delve deeply into the culture and daily reality of your destination. Contact with the local population is therefore very important. You will meet many locals and get the chance to talk to them about their living and working conditions. In many cases you also roll up your sleeves and help them in the household, in the classroom or on the field. So by empathizing we mean a lot more than watching and talking about the situation, it is also really experiencing what life is like at the place you visit. Many organizations make an immersion trip to destinations all over the world every year. Many empathy journeys take you to a faraway country, often in ’the South’, but you will also find it in Europe. In some cases, the focus is on a specific theme, such as education or agriculture. Then it may be that a specific target group is linked to it.

We discover the most beautiful natural areas and learn how the habitats and fauna and flora are protected. We meet the people who help to protect endangered and endemic species while taking into account the local population. The program also includes the projects we support and contact with the community.
